ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils are known for their physical and mental benefits. Since they are extremely beneficial for us, they are used for Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, Cosmetics or Alternative Medicine.

Although essential oils offer many benefits, they must be diluted before use and kept for external use only. They are prohibited for children, nursing mothers and pregnant women. It is strongly recommended to consult an expert before using it. Essential oils should be kept out of children reach, contact with the eyes has to be avoided and they should not be ingested neither by a child nor and adult.

PICEA MARIANA

BALSAM FIR (Abies balsamea)

Balsam Fir is a North American native Fir and a species of the Pinaceae family. It can reach 15 to 20 meters high and the trunk over 60 inches in diameter.

ESSENTIAL OIL BENEFITS

This essential oil is excellent to treat respiratory infections, inflammation of mucous membranes and skin ulcers. It is also known to relieve rheumatic and neuralgic pain.

CEDAR LEAF (Thuya occidentalis)

This conifer is a Northeastern North American native. The Cedar Leaf is a conifer specie that belongs to the Cypress family (Cupressaceae) and it can measure up to 18 meters.

The components of this essential oil make it an excellent antiseptic and it has calming properties. It has been used either for cosmetic or natural medicine in the following products: cleansers, disinfectants, hair preparations, insecticides, liniment, room sprays and soft soaps.

CANADIAN HEMLOCK (Tsuga canadensis)

This tree, native for North America, belongs to the Pinaceae family. It can reach up to 30 meters. It trunk is straight and can measure up to 100 cm in diameter.

BLACK SPRUCE (Picea mariana)

Black Spruce, also known as "Sapinette", is one of the most widespread Conifers of Northeastern Canada. From the Pinaceae Family, this tree is quite dense and can reach 6 to 8 meters high and even leap up to 20 meters in some areas.

WHITE SPRUCE (Picea glauca)

White Spruce, also called Canadian Spruce, is a common species of the Picea kind, which belongs to the Pine's family (Pinaceae). According to its living area, it can reach the same size as the Black Spruce.

LARCH TAMARACK (Larix laricina)

Larch Tamarack or Larch American is a Larix Conifer that belongs to the Pinaceae family. Its leaves turn brown and fall in Autumn making it the only deciduous Conifer in Canada.

WHITE PINE OF AMERICA (Pinus strobus)

Commonly known as the eastern white pine, Pinus strobus is a large Pine native of Eastern North America and it belongs to the Pinaceae family. It is also known by American Natives as the Tree of Peace, an important figure of the Great Law of Peace.

LABRADOR TEA (Ledum groenlandicum)

Labrador tea (Ledum Groenlandicum or Rhododendron) is a subshrub of the Ericaceae family found in the forests of North America.

CANADA GOLDENROD (Solidago canadensis)

Solidago canadensis (commonly called Canada Colden-rod, Canada Goldenrod or Golden sheaves) is an herbaceous perennial plant of the Asteraceae family native of North America.

This plant is known for being stimulating, sudorific, tonic, and is often recommended for colds, lung problems and nausea. Its property for kidney infections has made it very popular as it is known to be one of the best herbs to strengthen the renal system.
